Think of the German word UBER as being a combination of ULTRA and SUPER, and even with a hint of TRANSCENDING.. That very idea perfectly applies to my most recent visit to Dr. Jochen Pechak's Monterey Perio and Implant Center. I have implants in all four corners of my mouth, and meanwhile, age-wise, I'm right about one-third as old as the United States of America. I went in with an implant prophylaxis problem and I walked out problem-free. I couldn't be happier or more satisfied and grateful. I don't know what the new teeth-cleaning equipment is called that Dr. Pechak has purchased, but trust me, it is an experience; it is a cut above, it is to-die-for, it is efficacious, and it is a teeth & gum cleaning, plaque eradicating mouth flusher beyond description. State-of-the-art equipment used by Dr. Pechak's professional team unequivocally and hugely raises the level of dental and oral surgery service. I most-strongly recommend this talented, smooth, congenial and uber-efficient team for any and all oral callings and issues. They have my highest recommendation.

I have been concerned about my recessed gums for quite some time. But my recent efforts to find a qualified periodontist to graft my recessed gums in sites # # 19, 29 &30 were discouraging. A few highly rated periodontists have turned the task down, raising concerns about blood supply, nerve proximity, or chewing muscles. Therefore, it was a breath of fresh air to hear Dr. Pechak’s proposal to perform my gum augmentation without reservation.
However, there was a snag, i.e. the use of prophylactic antibiotics. I have a history of recurring C difficile and should avoid antibiotics by all means. Dr. Pechak offered an alternative to antibiotics, i.e. StellaLife Antiseptic Oral Care.
The procedure was almost painless despite the sensitivity of the graft-harvesting site -my palate. I had to wear a palatal guard for a while, but I was home free after two and a half weeks to brush my teeth.
Dr. Pechak employed a free gum grafting technique, considered the gold standard of gum augmentation. In addition, he applied PRF membranes to surgical sites to promote tissue healing and speed up wound recovery.
Indeed, Dr. Pechak's skills and techniques are outstanding.

This Doctor and his staff were excellent! I came to see this Dr Pechak for a second opinion after receiving subpar treatment by another local oral surgeon. Dr Pechak was very understanding, has good bedside manner and is fairly priced for the services he performs. The office staff was great at answering the concerns I had, making sure my needs we met. I will definitely be returning to this office for any future oral surgery needs my family may have.
